ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
WE RECOMMEND INSTALLATION OF THIS LIGHTING FIXTURE BE DONE BY A
LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
WARNING *** SWITCH OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN
FUSE BOX/CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLATION.
INSPECT ITEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL. IF THERE IS
ANY DAMAGE OR OBVIOUS DEFECT, DO NOT INSTALL.
ITEM MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED.
1. Attach chain (F) to top loop (G).
2. Attach chain (F) to bottom loop of connection rod (E).
3. Affix mounting strap (A) onto ceiling outlet box and secure with mounting
screws (B).
4. Thread top nipple of connection rod (E) into the center hole of canopy (C) and
secure with nut (D).
5. Attach ground (bare wire) wire to ground wire from junction box (usually green
or copper in color), fasten together with a plastic wire connector. Tightly wrap
the wire connector with electrical tape so the end of the connector is sealed.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE OUTLET BOX IN YOUR HOME BE
PROPERLY GROUNED.
6. Connect neutral wire from fixture (ridges molded wire) to neutral (usually
white) wire from junction box. Fasten both wires together with a plastic wire
connector and tightly wrap the wire connector with electrical tape.
7. Connect hot wire from fixture (smooth wire) to hot wire (usually black) from the
junction box. Fasten each together with plastic wire connector. Make sure no
wire strands are exposed.
DO NOT REVERSE THE HOT AND NEUTRAL CONNECTIONS
OTHERWISE SAFETY WILL BE COMPROMISED.
8. Attach canopy (C) to the affixed mounting strap (A), secure by threading the
nipple of connection rod (E) to center hole of mounting strap (A).
9. Slide shade (H) onto socket tubes.
10. Insert light bulbs (not included) into sockets.
11. Restore power and test fixture.
