ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION GUIDE

INSPECT ITEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL. IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE OR

OBVIOUS DEFECT, DO NOT INSTALL.

ITEM MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED.

1. Find a wall stud that is nearest the desired mounting location. If you are unable to locate a stud, consult your local

hardware store for the proper hardware type for your particular wall.

2. Hold the ﬁxture in position and with the pencil lightly mark the desired location for the two back plates afﬁxed to the

lamps vertical stem. Lay the lighting ﬁxture aside.

3. Remove the mounting plate (H) from the base (E) of the lighting ﬁxture by removing the base screws (F).

4. Align the top wall plate up with the pencil marking and mount to wall stud by using 2 of the wall plate screws (G).

Repeat with the lower wall plate. Do not screw hardware into the wall completely until you are sure both plates are

aligned correctly. Correct alignment can be checked by using a carpenter’s level.

5. Afﬁx the light ﬁxture by holding the ﬁxture’s two back plates over the mounted wall plates and inserting the screws

provided (F).

6. Attach cord cover (I) to bottom of light base (E) by turning (I) in anti-clockwise direction.

7. Attach cord cover (J) to bottom of (I) by turning (J) in anti-clockwise direction, cord cover (K) to bottom of (J) by

turning (K) in anti-clockwise direction.

8. Squeeze shade harp (C) to sit into shade cup (D) in groove in the top of it

9. Remove the ﬁnial (A) from the shade harp (C) and attach the lamp shade (B). Secure lamp shade (B) to the harp by

tightening the ﬁnial (A).
