ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION GUIDE
WE RECOMMEND INSTALLATION OF THIS LIGHTING FIXTURE BE DONE BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
WARNING *** SWITCH OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN FUSE BOX/CIRCUIT
BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLATION.
INSPECT ITEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL. IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE OR
OBVIOUS DEFECT, DO NOT INSTALL.
ITEM MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED.
1. Determine the desired hanging length of pendant. Adjust cord length by using screwdriver to loosen and tighten set
screw (E).
2. Remove back plate (A) from fixture base (D) by unscrewing base screws (C).
3. Attach back plate (A) to outlet box using back plate screws (B).
4. Connect the hot wire from the fixture (BLACK) to the hot wire from the outlet box (usually Black). Fasten them
together with a plastic wire connector provided and wrap connection with electrical tape.
5. Repeat this procedure for the (WHITE) neutral wire from the light fixture to the neutral wire from the outlet box
(usually WHITE). DO NOT REVERSE THE HOT AND NEUTRAL CONNECTIONS OTHERWISE SAFETY WILL BE
COMPROMISED.
6. Connect the ground wire from the light fixture (GREEN) to the outlet green ground wire. Fasten them together with a
plastic wire connector. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE OUTLET BOX IN YOUR HOME BE PROPERLY GROUNDED.
7. Attach fixture base (D) back to back plate (A) and secure with base screws (C).
8. Insert light bulb into socket.
