 BENCH CRACK DETECTION UNIT
Gammatec IMP Multi-directional MPI Bench Unit
The Industrial Magnetic Particle (IMP) Bench unit produces an overall multi-directional
magnetism, eliminating the use of traditional electrical contact pads and encircling coil
methods. This serves to ensure that defects can be detected whatever their position
in relation to the magnetic field. Arcing is eliminated so that the test pieces are not
damaged.
The IMP bench unit can be supplied as a fixed installation or castor mounted to
provide one-man mobility. Every unit is custom built to suit the client’s application.
