Installing the Filter Cartridges and Sump (See Figure 4):
10. Tear off the seal package of the filter
cartridges.
11. Insert Sediment Cartridge (C) over the
standpipe in the bottom of Filter Sump (B).
Ensure that the two O-rigs on the sump
are properly sit in the grooves.
Note: The grease applied on O-rings tested by
NSF are food safety.
12. Screw the sump to the inlet side of Head
Assembly (A) with yellow dot and hand-tighten in
counter-clockwise direction. Use Sump
Wrench (T) to tighten, making sure
the seal marks on the head and sump are
aligned. Note: Don’t over tighten.
13. Repeat above steps to install Carbon
Block Cartridge (D) into another sump to
the outlet side of the head assembly with green dot.
CAUTION: When looking at the system from the front, the Sediment Cartridge must be on
the left (yellow dot on housing & head) and the Carbon Block Cartridge must be on the
right (green dot on housing & head).
Installation Instructions (continued):
Installing the Faucet (See Figure 3):
8. Guide Escutcheon Plate (K) and Rubber Gasket (L) onto the
stem of the faucet. Slip the stem into the hole and make sure it
sits flat on the top of the sink or countertop surface.
9. From underneath the sink, slide Plastic Lock Washer (M) and
Star Washer (N) up along the stem, then screw Steam Nut (O)
all way up the stem until it’s flush with Star Washer. Screw with
an adjustable wrench until it’s slightly sung and check to
make sure the faucet spout is in the proper position.
Mounting the System under the Sink (See Figure 5 on next page):
14. Choose an easy to access area under the sink to mount the system.
Note: There must be a 2” minimum clearance between the bottom of Filter Sump (B) and
the floor of cabinet to facilitate easy replacement of filter cartridge.
Note: Mount the system to a solid cabinet wall. If a solid wall is not available, use
hollow-wall anchor bolts or toggle bolts (not included) to secure to the wall.
15. Use the Pre-Assembled Head Assembly (A) as a template, mark the holes for positioning
the system on the wall surface.
16. Insert Mounting Screws (F) into the wall with a Phillips screwdriver. Leaving approximately
3/8” of each screw exposed. Hang the system through the eyes of the bracket on the
screws. Tighten the screws to secure the system.
