Status Screen Error Conditions Troubleshooting the VITEK

indicate a Card Transport System Failure error again after the system

has rebooted.

6) Close the front access door and the cassette load/unload door.

7) Press Go to exit the Transport Halted screen.

8) The instrument will make a clicking noise and automatically reboot.

• If the recovery procedure was successful, the Status screen appears

with a Status of OK once the instrument has rebooted.

• If the Instrument Halted screen reappears, record the error code

number and call bioMérieux.

Message Status Screen

This status indicates that there is an error message in the error/message

queue that has not been viewed. Notice that the Status field (1, Figure 8-5)

has changed to Messages, indicating that there are error messages in the

error/message queue.

Press Help (?) to view the error/message queue.

If there is more than one message or error, press the Down Arrow to review

and address each message.

LASER WARNING

All access doors and covers must remain closed when

processing cards to avoid exposure to laser light.
