2 — Primary Error Code. The first line in the error/message queue gives you

the Primary Error Code (in this case, Hardware Error). For examples of other

Primary Error Codes, see Table 8-2.

3 — Secondary Error Code. The second line of the error/message queue

tells you the Secondary Error Code (in this case, Optical Controller Failure).

For examples of other Secondary Error Codes, see Table 8-2.

4 — Message Counter. The third line in the error/message queue is the

message counter (in this case, 2 of 5). The counter tells you how many

messages are in the queue.

5 — Error Code. The last line of the queue is the error code (in this case,

106). This code contains information for a bioMérieux service representative,

should you need to call for assistance.

6 — 12:00. Time the error occurred.

Reviewing a Message Status Screen

1) Press Help (?) to view the error/message queue.

Note: If there is more than one message, use the Down Arrow to review and

address each message.

2) Note the error code number, primary error code, and secondary error

code listed on the error/message queue.

3) Look up the primary error code and then the secondary error code in

Table 8-2. If an error recovery procedure is given, follow its directions,

then continue with Step 4.

4) Press the Previous Screen key to exit the error/message queue and

return to the Status screen.
