5. Press and release POWER key

7. The LED turns off for each key press and turns on after 
release (e.g. 045)
8. After completion, if the entered code is valid, the LED

has been stored. Press EXIT to quit this mode (otherwise 
the remote will remain in this mode ready for another code 
entry).
9. If any key other than the numeric key and EXIT key is 
 SUHVVHGWKH/('ÀDVKHVUDSLGO\WLPHVDQGUHPDLQV21
indicating an error and that the remote is ready for the code 
to be re-entered.
10.Once the code has been entered successfully, check 
whether the majority of your device’s function can be 
operated with the remote control. If some of the features of 
your devices do not work, try different codes in the code 
 OLVWXQWLO\RX¿QGWKHRQHWKDWDOORZV\RXWRFRQWUROWKH
majority of your device’s functions. 
11.During the above process you can press and release the 
Exit key to exit the mode at any time, the LED indicator will 
 ÀDVKUDSLGO\WLPHVDQGWXUQRII7KHSUHYLRXVO\
programmed code remains unchanged. 
12.If no key is pressed for 15 secs, the remote will exit the 
Direct Code Entry mode and LED turns off.
Note:
• If you are programming the remote for a brand/model that is 
not listed in the Popular Brand List or the Direct Code Entry 
(e.g. Wharfedale, Acoustic Solutions etc), it is recommended 
that you use the Auto Code Search method (go to section 3) 
or the Learning Mode (go to section 4). 
 2.1 Assigning AUX key
You can use the AUX key to set your remote control for a 
second TV, VCR, SAT, CABLE, DVD, DVR or AUDIO. 
For example, to control two TVs, a cable and a DVD, you need 
to assign the AUX key to operate the second TV. 
The operation procedure is same as the Direct Code Entry 
except a fourth numeric key is required at the end of the 3 digit 
code. The fourth digit for each device is listed below:
0 – TV
1 – VCR
2 – DVD/CD
3 – SAT/CABLE
4 – DVR
5 – AUDIO
For example, if you want to programme an additional TV using 
the AUX function, you would follow the Direct Code Entry
procedure and add the number ‘0’ to the end of the 3 digit 
code.
