Supervised

Whenasensorissettobesupervised,thecontrolpanelwillexpectregulartimedsignalsfromthissensor.Ifthe
signalsarenotreceivedforaperiodof12hours,asupervisorytroublealertwilloccur.
l Thedefaultallowssupervisionforthiswirelesssensor.
l Toturnoffsupervisionforthiswirelesssensor,selectdisabled.
NOTE:Portablesensorssuchaspanicbuttonsshouldnotbesetassupervisedifthesensormayberemoved
fromtheareatemporarily.
Equipment Age
DEFAULT: Vari es by install time (New or Existi ng)
Whenasensorisinitiallyinstalledinthesystemitisidentifiedasbeingnew.Sensorsthathavepreviouslybeen
installed(e.g.,withadifferentpanel)areidentifiedasbeingexisting.
Thisinformationistrackedaspartoftheinstalledsysteminventory.
Zone Number
Upto100wirelesssensorscanbeusedwitheachcontrolpanel.
Azonenumberwillbeautomaticallyassignedwhenthewirelesszoneisconfigured.Thezonenumbercanbe
editedbyselectingthezonenumberoptionandselectinganumberfromthelistofavailablenumbers.
Secure Mode
DEFAULT: Vari es by install time (New or Existi ng)
New(nextgeneration)peripheralsensorsareconfiguredbydefaultwithanti-theftsecurityencryption,which
preventsthemfrombeingtakenoverbyanothersecuritysystem.Older/existingsensorsareconfiguredbydefault
inlegacymode(i.e.,Unsupportedmode).
Atthepanel,ontheWirelessSensorsscreen,eachsensorinthelisthasanindicatorshowingwhetheritis
configuredinsecuremode(closedlockicon)ornon-securemode(openlockicon).
Possiblestatesare:NotSecure;SecureEncryptionPending;SecureEncrypted;Unsupported.
