Cameras Settings
Thissectioncontainsdescriptions,defaultvalues,andnotesabouttheCamerassettings.
Toaccessthesesettingsfromthecontrolpanel,goto:
Menu > Settings > Installer Toolbox > Cameras
FromtheCamerasscreen,youcanviewandconfigurethefollowingsettings.
Add Camera
Toaddacameratothepanelnetwork,presstheAdd Camerabuttonandfollowtheinstructionsonthepanelto
addthecameratothenetworkusingWPS.Aswithallothersensorsandperipheraldevices,followthe
instructionsintheQuickReferenceguidethatisincludedwiththatspecificdevicefordetailsonenablingWPS.
NOTE:Ifthecontrolpanelnetworksettingsareconfiguredtoconnectperipheraldevicestothelocalnetwork,
selectingAdd Camerashowsalistofallofthecamerascurrentlyconnectedtothenetwork.Selectacamera
fromthelisttoaddthecameratothepanelnetworkandthenconfigureitssettings.
Onceacamerahasbeenadded,youcanconfigureitssettingswiththeoptionsonthefollowingscreens.
Todeleteacamerafromthesystem,selectthecamerafromthelist,andthenpressDelete.
Privacy Mode
DEFAULT: Disabled
Privacymodeallowsyoutotemporarilyturnoffacamerasothatitwillnotcaptureimagesorlivevideo.Whena
cameraisinprivacymode,thestatuslightonthecameraisblueandthecamera'sviewscreenisblank.
Camera Status
Showswhetherthecameraiscurrentlyonlineoroffline.Ifacamerafirmwareupdateisavailable,itwillappearin
thestatusfieldwhereyoucanselecttoinstalltheupdateforthecamera.
Camera Name
Enterauniquenameforeachcamerathatyouaddtothenetwork.
Status Light
DEFAULT: Enabled
Turnthecamera'sstatuslight(LED)onoroff.Thestatuslightindicateswhetherthecameraisonlineoroffline.
