Mounting and Dismounting 1. Mount the TELE CONVERTER onto the back of the lens first. To mount the TELE CONVERTER, align the red mark on the front side of the TELE CONVERTER with the lens’s red dot, then turn the TELE CONVERTER clockwise or counterclockwise (NIKON) until it stops. 2. To mount the TELE CONVERTER with the lens onto the camera, align the red mark on the rear side of the TELE CONVERTER with the camera’s red dot and turn the TELE CONVERTER clockwise or counterclockwise (NIKON) until it stops. 3.
AF Compatibility Check the maximum aperture (F Value) of your prime lens to ensure that the TELE CONVERTER will operate in AF mode. If the lens is slower than the required F value (as specified below), the lens/ TELE CONVERTER combination will operate in the MF mode.
