Zone Objects 
A zone object is any device in a zone, such as: 
Physical port number or port index on the switch 
Node World Wide Name (N-WWN) 
Port World Wide Name (P-WWN) 
Zone Schemes 
You can establish a zone by identifying a zone objects by using one or 
more of the following zoning schemes 
  Domain,Index - All members are specified by Domain ID and Port 
Number or Domain Index number pair or aliases. 
  World Wide Name (WWN) - All members are specified only by 
WWW or Aliases of the WWN. They can be Node or Port version of 
WWN. 
  Mixed Zoning - A zone containing members specified by a 
combination of domain, port or domain, index and wwn . 
Configurations of Zones 
Following are recommendations for zoning: 
Do nsshow to list the WWN of the Host and Storage (Initiator and 
Target). Record Port WWN 
Create the Alias for Device alicreate "Alias, "WWN" 
Create the Zone zoneCreate “Zone Name”,”WWN/Alias” 
Create the Zone Configuration cfgCreate “cfgName”,”Zone Name”  
Save the Zone Configuration cfgsave
