Configuring LCM 10
You must configure LCM before you can use it. The configuration process involves setting up the virtual
machine naming convention, specifying groups, and selecting date and currency formats. You can also
configure role-based attributes.

Check Configuration Readiness
Before you start configuring LCM, you can check whether the configuration service is ready.
Procedure
1 Log in to the Orchestrator configuration interface.

2 Verify that all status indicators display a green circle.
3 On the General tab, check the server status.
4 If the status is not Running, click the Startup Options tab and click Start service.
