The DSN user must be the same as the local administrator for vCenter Server service account.

You must install vCenter Server and related components in this order: vCenter Single Sign‐On, vCenter Inventory Service, vCenter Server, and Profile‐Driven Storage Service.

You are not prompted to confirm the installation. Upgrading vCenter Server from the Command Line When you upgrade to vCenter Server 5.5 from the command line, you must install vCenter Single Sign‐On and vCenter Inventory Service, in that order, before you install or upgrade vCenter Server.
