c) Browse to the USBDrivers folder on the installation DVD.
d) Complete the installation.
USB Driver Installation on Windows 7 or Windows 2008
a)
Launch Device Manager and navigate to Bluetooth Radios > Generic Bluetooth Adapters.
b) Right-click and select the "Update Driver Software" menu option.
c) Select "Locate and install driver software manually."
d) Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer."
e)
Click the Have Disk... button, and browse to the USBDrivers folder and driver file on the
installation DVD.
f) Complete the installation. If a security warning appears, select "Install this driver software
anyway."
3. You will be prompted to repeat the driver installation when the first headset enters download mode.
Headset Software Update Tool Features
FunctionTool / Field
Click the Scan button to display all connected devices.
Click the Update All button to upgrade software on all displayed devices at
the same time.
Click the Select and Save Software button to locate and set software update
files and to save the existing software version.
Click the About button for application information.
Indicates if the device is a headset or charger.
Type
Indicates the serial number of the headset or charger.
Serial Number
Indicates the version number of the software currently installed on the
device.
Current Firmware
Click the Update Now button associated with a single device to start the
software update on that device.
Update Now
Indicates the status of the software update on the device:
State
• reconfigure - device initialization is in progress
• upload - existing firmware save is in progress
• download - software download is in progress
• manifest - software update is in progress
• finished - software update is complete
Indicates the percent of the update completed for the device. (When the
update is complete, this value will be 100.)

Updating an SRX2 Headset or SRX2 Battery Charger
• The Vocollect Headset Software Update Tool is installed on a computer running a supported operating
system.
• The correct Vocollect USB driver is installed on the computer.
• The host computer has available USB ports. For updating multiple headsets and chargers, Vocollect
recommends using a USB hub and Micro USB cables.
