Quick Setup Guide

This quick reference guide is provided to help you set

up your new DA-1000 Pro for the first time. It covers

connectivity instructions for components shipped with

the system only. When completed, you will have a

fullfunction working digital karaoke system. If you have

pre-existing gear that will require

installation, refer to it’s appropriate manual for detailed instructions.

3 Things to Remember

1. Do NOT connect AC power cords

until all of the connections

are completed.

2. Be sure to make connections firmly.

3. If your Karaoke system doesn’t match any

of the example diagrams provided, see

your VocoPro dealer or a qualified technician.

Preparations

4. Unpack contents from the box. You should have the following parts:

6. Each mounting bracket takes 3 mounting screws. Connect bracket’s one at a time, being sure not to strip the screws provided.

When both brackets are mounted, you are ready to mount the unit to your rack case.

5. Decide whether or not the unit is going

to be mounted to a rack case or not.

If not mounting to a rack case, skip Step 3 & 4

8. When supporting in position, use screws and mount case as

instructed by it’s manual as models of cases may differ.

7. Slide the DA-1000 Pro into the desired space on rack case,

STEP: 5 Connecting A/V Device(s) 9. Make sure or if necessary turn power 10. Connect RCA cables from Video output off to all equipment before starting. jacks on A/V device 1 to Video input jacks labeled CD+G on the DA-1000 Pro. Video in Audio In Audio out 11. Connect RCA cables from audio output 12. Repeat steps for A/V device 2, using the A/V jacks on A/V device 1 to audio input jacks labeled CD+G on the DA-1000 Pro.
