PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE(S)
SOLUTION(S)
No video signal. Words don’t
appear on the TV monitor.
Be sure the television is set
to the “VIDEO” mode (see your
television’s owners manual).
The television may not be
switched to the proper video
input channel.
Be sure the the “VIDEO OUT-
PUT” jack (See PARTS AND
FUNCTIONS diagram) on the
rear panel of the Twister II
is connected to the “VIDEO IN-
PUT” section of the TV monitor.
Not all televisions/monitors
have “RCA” connector jacks.
Unable to connect the Twister
II to my television monitor
with the “RCA” cabel provided.
You will need an “RF Modula-
tor”, or VCR. (See PARTS
AND FUNCTIONS, #17 and
diagram for “CONNECTING A
TELEVISION MONITOR “. There
are three options for connecting
televisions without video input
jacks.
There is a loud “squeeling”
noise coming from speakers.
This noise is called “feedback”.
Feedback occurs for various
reasons. For example, feed-
back can occur if the micro-
phone is held too closely to, or
pointed directly at, the speak-
ers . Feedback can also occur
if the micorphone volume is
too high or there is too much
treble frequency being used.
Turn down the microphone
volume.
Turn down the treble control.
Hold the microphone away
from the speakers.
No sound from either or both
speakers.
The audio signal may not
be reaching the speakers.
The speakers may not be
connected properly or the
volume may be down.
Check the speaker connectors
to make sure they plugged in
properly (See page 9). Be sure
the music and microphone
volumes are up. Make sure you
have selected the correct “IN-
PUT” selector. (#25-29, PARTS)
