Product Safety Information • RF Exposure General Statement on RF energy Your phone contains a transmitter and a receiver. When it is ON, it receives and transmits RF energy. When you communicate with your phone, the system handling your call controls the power level at which your phone transmits. Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) Your mobile device is a radio transmitter and receiver. It is designed not to exceed the limits for exposure to radio waves recommended by international guidelines.
• Distraction Driving Full attention must be given to driving at all times in order to reduce the risk of an accident. Using a phone while driving (even with a hands free kit) causes distraction and can lead to an accident. Installing and removing the battery Set-up Removing or installing the back cover Insert and click the battery into place, then close the telephone cover. Unclip the cover, then remove the battery. Charging the battery Inserting and removing the SIM card (1) Please insert your SIM card to make phone calls. Connect the battery charger Place the SIM card with the chip facing downwards and slide it into its housing.
The charge is complete when the animation stops. Only use manufacturer chargers. 2.2 Power on your phone Hold down the key until the telephone powers on, type in your PIN code if necessary. The main screen is displayed. Making a call Making an emergency call If your phone has network coverage, dial emergency number and press the key to make an emergency call. This works even without a SIM card and without typing the PIN (2) code . 4.2 Your voicemail is provided by your network to avoid missing calls. It works like an answering machine that you can consult at any time. To access your voicemail, hold down key.
If the icon is displayed, the vibrator is activated and there is no ringtone. If the icon is displayed, the phone does not ring or vibrate. The caller’s number is displayed if it is transmitted by the network (1). You can also use the Volume key to switch main Menu. 6 Messages........................................... You can create, edit and receive SMS and MMS with this mobile phone.
You can save standard messages to Drafts or Templates (MMS only). A SMS message of more than 160 characters (the number of characters depends on your language) will be charged as several SMS. A MMS message containing photos and/or sounds may also be billed as more than one message. 6.1.2 Inbox Group unread message Unread messages will always be positioned above the read messages. 6.1.3 Outbox All messages failed to send. 6.1.4 Sent All received messages (read and unread) are stored in the same Inbox.

10.2 Weather (1) Your phone is equipped with a weather function for consulting the forecast of favourite cities up to 3 days in advance. To access this function, select in main Screen. You are able to view a list of cities, add or delete cities, or set your favourite city. To view weather information for other cities. Press key up or down. To display today’s weather information in full screen, Select “View” in “Option”.
11.2.3 Java downloading You can download new Java™ applications in the “Java” menu by selecting “Download” from “Options”. The list of available Web bookmarks dedicated to the application download will then be displayed. Select the appropriate bookmark for the desired Web page.
