How to display hidden files and folders in Windows explorer
Windows XP
1. Open Explorer.
2. From the Tools menu, select ‘Folder
Options… ‘.
3. Click on the ‘View’ tab.
4. Check ‘Show hidden files and folders’ in
the list of advanced settings.
5. Click on the ‘Apply’ button and if desired
click on the ‘Apply to All Folders’ button.
Windows Vista and Windows 7
1. Open Explorer.
2. From the Organize menu, select ‘Folder
and Search Options’.
3. Click on the ‘View’ tab.
4. Check ‘Show hidden files and folders’ in
the list of advanced settings.
5. Click on the ‘Apply’ button and if desired
click on the ‘Apply to Folders’ button.
In which folder are the VMB files that were created at run-time?
The location of <vmc folder> depends on the operating system. This folder will be referenced
below several times.
