6.2.4 Settings
A series of settings are available for your adjustment. To access Browser
settings, press the Menu key from Browser screen, and touch More/Settings.
Page content settings
• Text size
Touch to select the size of the text display: Tiny,
Small, Normal, Large, or Huge.
• Default zoom
Touch to select the magnification level by default.
• Open pages
in overview
Mark the checkbox to open web pages zoomed out,
in an overview.
• Text encoding
Touch to select the character encoding standard.
• Block pop-up
windows
Mark the checkbox to prevent pop-up windows.
• Load images
Mark to display images on web pages.
• Auto-fit pages
Mark to format web pages to fit the screen.
• Landscape-
only display
Mark to display pages only in landscape screen
orientation.
• Enable JavaScript
Mark to enable JavaScript.
• Enable plug-ins
Mark to enable plug-ins.
• Open in background
Mark to open new windows behind the current one.
• Set homepage
Touch to set homepage.
Privacy settings
• Clear cache
Touch to clear locally cached content and databases.
• Clear history
Touch to clear the browser history.
• Accept cookies
Mark to allow sites to save and read cookie data.
• Clear all cookie
data
Touch to clear all browser cookies.
• Remember form
data
Mark to remember data in forms for later use.
• Clear form data
Touch to clear all the saved form data.
• Enable location
Mark to allow sites to request access to your
location.

Security settings

Mark to save usernames and passwords for websites.

Touch to view advanced settings for individual

• Reset to default
Touch to clear all browser data and to reset all
settings to default.
