11.2.2 Voicemail
Voicemail service
Opens a dialog where you can select your carrier’s voicemail service or another
service.
Voicemail settings
If you are using your carrier’s voicemail service, this opens a dialog where
you can enter the phone number to use for listening to and managing your
voicemail. You can enter a comma (,) to insert a pause into the number—for
example, to add a password after the phone number.
11.2.3 Other call settings
Call forwarding
Depending on your subscription. Forward the incoming calls to a different
number.
Additional settings
• Caller ID: Touch to set whether display the caller ID in outgoing calls.
• Call waiting: Touch to turn on/off call waiting. When turn on, during a call,
there is a notification of incoming calls.
11.3 Sound
Use the Sound settings to configure many aspects of call and notification
ringtones, music, and other audio settings.
• Silent mode
Mark the check box to silence all sounds except
media & alarms.
• Alert override
Mark the check box to enable maximum volume
and vibrate when device is in a pocket or bag.
• Phone vibrate
Touch to access phone vibrate options.
• Volume
Touch to set volume for Incoming call, Media and
Alarm.
• Phone ringtone
Touch to set your default incoming call ringtone.
• Notification

Touch to set your default notification ringtone.
• Audible touch

Mark the check box to enable playing tones when
using dial pad.
• Audible selection
Mark the check box to enable playing sounds when
making screen selection.
• Screen lock sounds
Mark the check box to enable playing sounds when
locking and unlocking the screen.
• Haptic feedback
Mark the check box to activate vibration when
pressing soft keys and on certain UI interactions.
