Overview
Voice Communications Via Your IP Network
The AudioMate 360 family of IP voice gateways links your IP network with a new world of
voice communications possibilities. Now, disparate communications modes and equipment
can interoperate as never before.
The AudioMate 360a interfaces with baseband audio devices such as microphones, public
address amplifiers, broadcast receivers, and portable music players. The AudioMate 360i
interfaces with iDEN PTT radio networks, while the AudioMate 360r interfaces with existing
2-way radio equipment such as repeaters and control stations.
The AudioMate 360a connects to most baseband audio devices, such as CD players,
microphones, AM/FM broadcast or NOAA weather radio receivers. The other portion of the
unit connects to your IP network using a standard 10/100BaseT LAN interface to provide the
link to other IP voice gateways and soft consoles running on desktop and laptop PCs.
Once properly installed and configured, any AudioMate Communicator soft console on your
LAN or WAN can talk and listen to the audio device attached to the AudioMate 360a IP voice
gateway. The AudioMate Server can accept telephone calls, iDEN calls from an AudioMate
360i, and other interoperating radio systems to form a huge conference of disparate modes
of communications.
