Video
The Video view allows the user to perform the same Locate, Calibrate, and Test routines.
There is also a focal distance adjustment tool to the right of the video view.
Video also features simple Capture and Decode functionality.
Allows the user to take an
image capture of the
symbol in the field of view
at any time, and to
decode the symbol data.
Similar to the Capture
and Decode function in
the Configuration views.
Initiates the Test routine.
Allows the user to test the
imager’s read rate and
decodes per second, and also
displays decoded symbol data
in the field at the bottom of the
screen, Click Stop to end the
Test routine.
Clicking this icon enables the
focal distance slide control to
the right of the video view.
The focal distance value is
displayed just below the icon.
When enabled, shows the
symbol in higher contrast
than the default contrast
value.
Activates the imager’s target
pattern and initiates live
video display of the symbol
in the field of view.
Initiates Calibration routine. Initiates Data Matrix Learn operation.
Initiates Select
Reader Optics dialog.
Symbol data and
Test results are
shown in this field.
When Decodes per Second is checked,
the read rate test displays how many
decodes the imager achieves each second,
instead of displaying a percentage.
