If required, change the cell number by using the UP or DOWN key and confirm your
selection by pressing the OK button.
Now, the nominal capacity indicated on the accumulator is to be selected. You can
set it in the range of between 1.0Ah and 44Ah by pressing the UP and DOWN keys.
Please note that warranty will lapse if you select a false capacity. Any claim to war-
ranty will lapse in such a case for the charging station (and of course for the accu-
mulator).
First, the integral capacity from 1 to 44 Ah is to be entered.

If the capacity is lower than 10Ah, the fractional digit can be set in steps of 100mAh

Now, the type of accumulator is to be selected.
Two different types of accumulators can be charged:
- standard lead accumulators (e.g. used in vehicles and older motorbikes) and
-
lead gel or lead fleece accumulators (e.g. used for motorbikes, model making and
alarm systems).
To give you an immediate general idea about the state of the accumulator, the cur-
rent charge status of the accumulator is displayed in percent. This value is only reli-
able, if the accumulator has not been previously charged or discharged for at least
one hour.
