Therefore, the energy cost measuring device can only be operated/programmed when it is plugged directly into a mains socket upon start-up.
8. OPERATION a) Toggling the display The information shown in the upper display can be toggled with the “ following displays are available: ” button (4). The Power in Watt (“W”) Current in Ampere (“A”) Voltage in Volt (“V”) Power factor (“PF”) Max. power in Watt (“MAX W”) Max. current in Ampere (“MAX A”) The values for power, current, voltage and power factor are each the currently measured values.
The information in the lower display can be toggled with the “ displays are available: ” button (5). The following Current time of day Energy in kWh (“ENERGY”) Energy in kWh (“ENERGY”) CO2/greenhouse gas (“GHG/CO2”) Costs (“COST”) Operating time (“TIME”) b) Starting, using, closing the set-up mode • The set-up mode can be started and closed by pressing the “SET” button (1) for about 3 seconds each time. The settings are applied when closing.
c) Setting the time • As described in section b), hold the “SET” button (1) pressed for approx. 3 seconds to start the set-up mode. “ ” will be shown in the top left of the display and “24R” (or “12HR”) appears in the upper display for the currently set time display format. The set-up mode can be closed early by pressing the “SET” button (1) again for approx. 3 seconds. The settings made are saved. • Press the “SET” (1) button briefly until “12” or “24” flashes in the display.
• “TARIFF 1” appears in the upper display, the electricity tariff can now be set. If you only have one electricity tariff with your electricity company, enter the same price for both electricity tariffs (“TARIFF 1” and “TARIFF 2”). The starting time does not matter since the electricity costs are the same. If you have two different electricity tariffs (e.g. day-time electricity and night-time electricity), set the price for the day-time tariff (“TARIFF 1”) and the starting time for this tariff (e.g.
After confirming the last input position, the hours of the starting time for electricity tariff 2 (for example night-time electricity) flash. • Set the hours of the starting time for electricity tariff 2 with the “ ” (4) or “ ” (5) button. • Briefly press the “SET” (1) button, the minutes of the starting time for electricity tariff 2 flash. • Set the minutes of the starting time for electricity tariff 2 with the “ button. ” (4) or “ ” (5) • Press the “SET” button (1) briefly for confirmation.
e) Setting the GHG/CO2 emission Here, you can enter the CO2 emission per kWh. You can find the value applicable to your respective electricity tariff (for example 0.480 kg/kWh) from the internet page of your electricity company or maybe from the contract documents of your electricity tariff. Our tip: If you have an electricity tariff with 100% electricity from sustainable resources, entering 0.000 kg CO2/kWh does not make sense. You can enter a value for CO2 emission of a normal electricity tariff.
f) Alarm for overloading If a set limit value is exceeded, the measuring device will sound an alarm every 10 seconds and “OVERLOAD” will flash in the display. Press any button to stop the alarm. However, the “OVERLOAD” display will continue to flash. This function cannot only be used for protection of the measuring device or a connected load but also to signal when the load has exceeded the set limit value during operation. You do not have to monitor the display all the time.
• By briefly pressing the “ ” button (5) you can access the delete mode, see next section g). If you want to correct the overload settings, briefly press the “SET” button (1) and proceed as described above. If you want to close the set-up mode, hold the “SET” button (1) pressed for 3 seconds (or do not press a button for one minute).
• “CLr” appears in the top of the display. Press the “SET” (1) button briefly, “CLr ALL dATA” appears at the bottom of the display. • Use the “ ” (4) and “ ” (5) button to select one of the two delete functions “CLr USEr SEt” or “CLr ALL dATA”. At the beginning of section g) is described which information will be cleared. • To delete the data (either “CLr USEr Set” or “CLr ALL dATA”) hold the “C” button (2) pressed for 3 seconds until you can hear a beep. The selected data are deleted.
9. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING The product is maintenance-free. Maintenance or repair work may be performed only by qualified personnel or a specialised repair shop. The product contains no parts that require servicing. Therefore, do not open / dismantle it. Prior to cleaning the measuring device, pull it out of the mains socket completely. Remove the connected consumers from the socket of the measuring device. To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.

• Krótkie naciśnięcie przycisku „ ” (5) spowoduje przejście do trybu usuwania, patrz następny punkt „g)”. Jeśli zaistnieje potrzeba ponownej korekcji ustawień wartości przeciążenia, należy krótko nacisnąć przycisk „SET” (1) i postępować zgodnie z instrukcjami znajdującymi się powyżej.
