f) Alarm for overloading
If a set limit value is exceeded, the measuring device will sound an alarm every 10 seconds
and “OVERLOAD” will ash in the display. Press any button to stop the alarm. However, the
OVERLOAD” display will continue to ash.
This function cannot only be used for protection of the measuring device or a connected
load but also to signal when the load has exceeded the set limit value during operation.
You do not have to monitor the display all the time.
A power value (W) as well as a current value (A) can be set as limit value.
The function is deactivated if “0” was entered for both limit values.
If both values are programmed (e.g. 1000 W and 2 A), the alarm is activated when the
lower of the two values is exceeded (for the example above, the alarm is activated at
2 A; this corresponds to a power of 460 W for a mains voltage of 230 V/AC).
If you have set the CO
2
emission (see section e) before setting the limit value for overload-
ing, you can proceed directly with the next step.
Otherwise, the set-up mode must be started by pressing the “SET” button (1) for approx.
3 seconds. “ ” will be shown in the top left of the display and “24Hr” (or “12Hr”) appears
in the upper display. Press the “ ” button (5) briey 3x to open the limit value settings for
overload, see next step.
OVERLOAD” appears in the top of the display, the limit value for overload can now be set.

Toggle the limit value for power (“W” ashes) and current (“A” ashes) with the “ ” (4)
and “ ” (5) button.
Briey press the “SET” (1) button, the rst position of the limit value ashes.
