casingoffinthedirectionofthearrow.

3. Turnthedataloggeraroundandinsertthebatteryintothebatterycompartmentobserving
therightpolarity.Observethepolaritymarkingsinthebatterycompartment.Thetwo
displaysbrieflylightupforcontrolpurposes(green,yellow,green).
4. Slidethedataloggerbackintothecasinguntilitsnapsintoplace.Nowthedataloggeris
readyforprogramming.

saveuptoamaximumof32,000measuredvalues.Thisenablesdatarecordingoveralonger
periodoftime.
Aspace-savinginstallationbymountingonthewallisalsopossible.Thedataloggeriscon-
nectedtoacomputerlikeastandardUSBdatacarrierandisreadthere.Theanalysisisdone
graphicallyusingthesoftwareincludedinthedelivery.Dataexportfortableevaluationisalso
possible.Inaddition,therecordeddatacanbesavedforfurtherprocessing.
Along-lifelithiumbatterysuppliesthepower.Thisensuresaverylongrecordingtime.
Thedataloggermustnotbeoperatedwhenitisopen,i.e.withanopenbatterycompartment
orwhenthebatterycompartmentcoverismissing.Measuringunderadverseambientcondi-
tionssuchasdustandflammablegasses,vapoursorsolventsisnotadmissible.
