Max. 5 A shall be tapped at the terminals AUX. OUTPUT 5A MAX. (6).
A PTC overcurrent protection protects those terminals against overloading and
interrupts the current supply when triggered (>5 A). To reset the unit, immediately
turn it off and let it cool down to room temperature before using it again.
The terminals MAIN OUTPUT (screw sockets) (7) on the back are indicated for full
nominal current. From an output current of 5 A, the screw clamp function of the rear
sockets is recommended to avoid overheating of the plug sockets.
1. Remove any connected consumers from the output.
2. Switch on the power unit at the On/Off switch POWER (5). The operating display (1) lights up and
the current and voltage display appears on the display.
3. Set the parameters according to your specications as described in the chapter “Start-Up”.
4. Check once more that the correct output voltage is set.
5. Connect the plus pole (+) of the consumer with the red socket “+” and the minus pole (-) of the
consumer with the black socket “-” of the respective output (front = AUX. OUTPUT 5A MAX. (6),
rear = MAIN OUTPUT (7)).
Now you can switch on the connected consumer.
The current consumption of the connected consumer is displayed in Ampere (A) in the display (1).
