2. INTENDED USE
The environment meter combines 5 meters in one - anemometer · luxmeter · sound level meter · thermometer ·
hygrometer. The meter is used for comparison measurements.
The sensors for light strength, temperature and humidity as well as wind speed are applied with a pluggable connec-
tion cable and can be used away from the meter. Measurements at difcult-to-access measured objects will also be
quick and simple. The measuring microphone for sound level measurements is rmly integrated in the device.
Temperature or humidity measurements can be performed at the same time as sound level measurement, wind
speed measurement or lighting strength measurements.
A MIN/MAX display and data hold function facilitate reading the measured value.
The unit of temperature, wind speed and lighting strength can be switched.
The following measurements are available:
- Sound level 35 to 130 dBA
- Light strength 0 Lux - 200 kLux (0 Fc – 20 kFc)
- Wind speed 0.5 - 30.0 m/s
- Air temperature -40 to +70 °C (-40 to 158 °F)
- Relative humidity 10 - 95% RH
Operation requires a 9 V block battery (type 1604A or same build). Measurement under unfavourable ambient
conditions is not permitted.
Unfavourable ambient conditions are:
- Wetness or high air humidity
- Dust and ammable gases, vapours or solvents
- Hot light sources
- Strong vibrations
- Strong magnetic elds as present near machines and speakers.
Any other use than that described above will damage the product.
