Make sure that the set parameters match the rechargeable battery. The rechargeable
battery and the charger may be damaged if the charger is not properly congured.
Overcharging may cause an explosion or re. Take extreme care when conguring. If
there are no specic rechargeable battery parameters, please note the data in the table
below.

1Selecting the rechargeable battery type
The rechargeable battery type and rated voltage are usually indicated directly on the rechargeable
battery. The charger will automatically try to identify the rechargeable battery type using a detection
algorithm. Generally, NiZn and LiHv rechargeable batteries must be selected manually.
Use the middle “Circle” button to switch the data display during operation. The graphic voltage curve will
disappear and the preset parameters will be displayed.
If an incorrect rechargeable battery type is displayed during operation, it must be manually set to the
correct type. To do this, remove the rechargeable battery and put it back in the charger.
To change the default rechargeable battery type, press and hold down the middle button for 3 seconds
after inserting the rechargeable battery.

2Select program
The default programme is “Charge”. To change the programme, press and hold down the “Down” arrow
button for 3 seconds after inserting the rechargeable battery. Select the “Select procedure” menu item
andconrmtheselectionusingthemiddlebutton.
