If the car is equipped with active Xenon head-
lamps (Active Bending Lights, ABL) the light
from the headlamps follows the steering wheel
movement in order to provide maximum light-
ing in bends and junctions and so provide
increased safety.
The LED
illuminates when the function
is activated. The LED flashes and an error mes-
sage is shown on the information display in the
event of a malfunction. The function is only
active in twilight or darkness and only when the
car is moving.
The function can be deactivated/activated with
the headlamp control.
