Route proposal
When the Start guidance command has
been given, two alternatives will be presen-
ted:
Select
1 if the route type is chosen based
on Route type in the previous section
Select
3 if the driver chooses among the
three route types before guidance begins
See page 49 for more information.
Route options
1
Customize route.
Select roads or other things that the system
should avoid as far as possible when setting
a route:
Avoid motorways
Avoid toll roads
Avoid ferries
Avoid unverified roads
Avoid borders
Avoid time-restricted roads
Avoid season-restricted roads
NOTE
If a route has already been set when
one or more of these alternatives are
changed, there may be a slight delay
in guidance as the system recalculates
the route.
If the system has been set to avoid toll
roads, highways, etc., roads of this
type will only be used when there are
no other alternatives.
Route learning
An itinerary must be set. If the driver deviates
from the proposed route and takes a different
one to the final destination, the system will
memorize the route that the driver has
chosen.
If the same itinerary is selected two more
times and the driver uses his/her "own" route
again, the system will show the driver's route.
If this alternative is marked and the same
route is driven three times, this new route will
be stored and replace the original itinerary.
Reset route learning
This deletes the "learned" route.

These options vary, depending on the area/market/state.
