• NAT — Enables Network Address Translation
• Firewall — Enables the VT2542 firewall
Override MAC If your cable or DSL provider associates a particular service to a specific device, such as your
computer, select this field and type that MAC address in the MAC field to use as a “virtual”
WAN MAC address instead of the VT2542 MAC address. By default, the MAC address printed
on the VT2542 is displayed in this field.
Restore Restores the actual VT2542 MAC address.
Renew Requests a new WAN IP address for your VT2542 from the DHCP server at Vonage.
Release Releases the VT2542 WAN IP address.
