D. Disconnect the MAF electrical connector
from the meter in the intake air tube as
shown in Fig. 1C.
E. Disconnect the vent line running to the intake
air tube from the front of the passenger side
valve cover.
F. Remove the small vent hose assembly run-
ning between a fitting on the intake manifold
just behind the throttle body on the passen-
ger side and a fitting on the engine just
below. This hose will not be reused.
