S. Make sure the honeycomb airflow straighten-
er is installed as close to the 3” end of the
progressive coupler as possible and secured
with a single #56 hose clamp as shown in
Fig. 8V.
T. Locate the supplied MAF housing and install
the previously-removed MAF sensor using
the supplied M4 hardware. Install this MAF
assembly into the open end of the progres-
sive coupler so that the MAF sensor remains
horizontal and the electrical connector points
toward the front of the car. Be sure that the
flow direction arrow printed on the MAF sen-
sor points toward the throttle body. Secure
with a #64 hose clamp. See Figures 8W &
8X.
NOTE: The airflow straightener is a critical device to ensure
optimal fueling. Failure to install this device can
cause engine damage or failure and void any war-
ranties/
