D. Connect the SHORT 2” end of the 3/8” hose/
check valve assembly to the open port on
the intake manifold just behind the throttle
body and secure with one of the supplied #6
worm gear or 17.0 stepless clamps. Make
sure the FLOW arrow points toward the
intake manifold. See Fig. 11A.
E. AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ONLY
i. Smoothly route the 3/8” hose toward the
rear of the engine parallel to the passen-
ger side fuel rail and around to the port
at the rear of the driver side valve cover.
Take care to avoid kinks, using the sup-
plied plastic 90º fitting if needed.
ii. Secure the hose to the port with one of
the remaining hose clamps. See Fig.
11B.

NOTE: If necessary it may help to temporarily remove the
MAP sensor located on the manifold in order to
properly secure the clamps.
