Keep the lenses clean
Keep your Diamondback spotting scope in its protective padded case while viewing. If
your spotting scope gets wet, be sure to dry it out thoroughly before packing it away.
For long-term storage, choose a dark, well-ventilated area.
For the best viewing, regularly clean the exterior lenses:
Note: *Never use facial tissue, heavy cotton, or flannel fabric—these materials can scratch the
surface of a lens. Use lens cleaning fluid and optical tissue or cloth to clean lenses.
• Remove any dust or grit from the lens before wiping. Use pressurized air, soft
camel hair brush or an acrylic optical brush.
• Clear lenses of smudges, fingerprints or eyelash oil. Fog the lens with your
breath, then use a non-abrasive lens cloth* to clean the lens.
