About the eects
This section explains the eect types that are available
for the eect, and the parameters that can be edited
for these eects.
Please refer to page 7 for details on the signal ow.
EFFECT knob: This is the parameter that you can edit
by turning the EFFECT knob.
EFFECT buon + LOOP LEVEL/VALUE knob: This is
the parameter that you can edit by turning the LOOP
LEVEL/VALUE knob while holding down the EFFECT
buon.
Note:
If the optional VOX VFS2 foot switch is connected
to the EXT.SW jack, it can be used to delete phrases. () p.

Pedal effects
This models a stomp-box type eect.
COMP
This models a compressor pedal that is popular for its
percussive clean sound. It’s perfect for the pop or funk
music of the 80’s and 90’s. It can also produce a singing,
mellow sustain.
• EFFECT knob: Adjusts the sensitivity.
• EFFECT buon + LOOP LEVEL/VALUE knob: Adjusts
the output level.
CRUNCH
This models an overdrive unit named aer a half-
human half-horse being from a Greek myth. When the
gain is lowered, this acts as a boost that preserves the
original sound of the guitar. Raising the gain makes this
act as an overdrive with a rich mid-range.
• EFFECT knob: Adjusts the gain.
• EFFECT buon + LOOP LEVEL/VALUE knob: Adjusts
the output level.
OVERDRIVE
This models a well-known overdrive pedal with a
green box; the inexpressible warmth of its sound has
made it a classic eect.
