INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing the Touch & Learn Activity DeskTM Deluxe! The Touch & Learn Activity Desk™ Deluxe features an interactive desktop with activity cards that introduce letters, numbers, music, colors and more. Extend playtime with additional activity packs that each focus on a specific curriculum (each sold separately). Flip up the desktop and create a masterpiece using the art station or chalkboard. For more fun, play with the toy telephone or listen to fun tunes on the music player.

FEATURES ACTION Power Button Press the Power Button to turn the unit ON. Press the button again to turn the unit OFF. Help Button Press the Help Button to replay instructions, or ask for a hint. You can also touch the Help icon on the activity card if you need help. Mode Switch to Slide the Mode Switch to the left select Activity Mode. In this mode all features will be accessible.
WARNING: Please do not use a stylus, pencil or other pointed object on the Activity Page Area and activity cards. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS With the Touch & Learn Activity Desk™ Deluxe safety comes first. To ensure your child’s safety, adult assembly is required. For the Desk 1. Support the base by placing it on the floor. Insert the Touch Panel into the Base and press firmly down on the Shoulders until you hear a click. Caution: Do not place too much pressure on the Touch Panel itself.
Easily Transforms from an Activity Desk to an Art Station and Chalkboard To use the Activity Desk as an Art Station, flip up the Touch Panel and use the clip to hold paper on the chalkboard surface. You can also draw directly on the Chalkboard surface using chalk. Art Station Chalkboard Use a cloth to erase the chalk and wipe away any remaining chalk dust on the desk or activity cards. CAUTION: Keep fingers away from the hinges or underneath the desk before lowering the Touch Panel or closing the desk.
GETTING STARTED BATTERY INSTALLATION • Make sure the main unit is turned OFF. • Locate the battery cover on the back of the touch panel. Use a coin or screwdriver to open the battery cover. • Remove the exhausted batteries and install four new AA batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. • Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure. BATTERY NOTICE • Use new alkaline batteries for maximum performance. • Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
Activity Mode Touch any object on the activity page to explore. Touch any of the Mode Icons in the upper right area of the page to play additional activities. Voice instructions are included for each activity. Music Mode There are 11 popular music and 10 classical music melodies in the Music Player. The Music Player will play all the songs one by one. It will stop when each song has been played once. You can change the song by using the Music Player Controls.
ACTIVITY CARDS To play an activity card, insert it into the Activity Card Slot. If the card was purchased with a separate expansion pack, you must insert the expansion pack cartridge before you can play. • Please insert only one activity card at a time. Inserting more than one activity card may damage the card or the desk and may also result in incorrect card detection. • Do not try to insert anything other than the activity card into the Activity Card Slot.
Numbers & Counting Touch & Learn Touch the numbers to learn counting from 1 to 15. Searching Fun Listen to the clues and find the correct number on the page. Number Writing Select a number and the game will show you how to write it on the LED display. Counting Game Look at the lights on the LED display and count how many there are. Touch a number to answer.
Human Body Touch & Learn Touch the page to learn about body parts, clothing and accessories. Searching Fun Listen to the clues and find the correct body parts and objects on the page. Dressing Game Listen to what the boy needs and help him find the correct clothing for his body. Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes Play the song. When the music stops, touch the correct body part to continue the song.
EXPAND THE LEARNING Purchase additional expansion packs for even more learning fun! Each expansion pack includes eight pages that focus on developing key skills.
TROUBLESHOOTING Problem The main unit does not turn ON. The activity card inserted is not recognized. Possible Solution(s) Reload the batteries to reset the Touch & Learn Activity Desk™ Deluxe . Please refer to the Battery Installation section for instructions. Batteries may be exhausted. Please replace with a new set of batteries. Make sure that only one activity card is inserted into the slot. Make sure the activity card is the only object in the slot, and that it is fully inserted.
CARE & MAINTENANCE 1. Please store and use in dry areas. 2. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth. 3. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources. 4. Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an extended period of time. 5. Do not drop the unit on a hard surface and do not expose the unit to excess moisture or water. 6. Keep the activity cards placed on a flat surface when not in use. Do not bend or fold the activity cards. 7.
