Energy-saving charging mode
When this mode is activated, all telephone
functions, except handset battery charging, will
be disabled.
To activate the energy-saving
charging mode in CTM-S2412:
1. Remove the faceplate from the telephone
base.
2. On the front of the telephone base, slide the
base power switch to the right (off position).
3. Bend a small paperclip and gently insert it
to the handset pinhole (handset power tact-
switch) to turn off the handset. When the
telephone base and handset successfully
enters the energy-saving charging mode,
all keys on the telephone base should not
respond.
Note
• Make sure the ethernet cable is plugged in.
• Make sure all handsets are plugged with
batteries and cradled in charger.
When the phone fails to enter this mode, repeat
Step 2 through Step 3 above.
To deactivate the energy-saving
charging mode:
1. Slide the base power switch back to the left
(on position).
2. Gently insert the end of a paperclip into the
handset pinhole (handset power tact-switch)
to turn on the handset.
3. Plug the ethernet cable back in to reconnect
the power.
Register the handsets back to the telephone
base. See page 14 for handset registration
instructions.
