INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing the VTech® Shake & Sounds Learning PupTM learning toy! Learn and play with the interactive Shake & Sounds Learning PupTM by VTech®! Simply shake the bone-shaped rattle and the pup responds by walking, laying down and turning around.

• • • • • • • • • • • • Use new alkaline batteries for maximum performance. Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended. Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbonzinc) or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH), or new and used batteries. Do not use damaged batteries. Insert batteries with the correct polarity. Do not short-circuit the battery terminals. Remove exhausted batteries from the toy. Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
ACTIVITIES 1. Slide the on/off/volume control switch to turn the unit on. You will hear a playful bark, a fun phrase and a giggling sound. The light will flash and the puppy will move around. 3. Press the light-up triangle button on the back of the puppy to hear the color and shape identified and fun sing-along songs. The light will flash and the puppy will move around. Activities 2. Shake the bone rattle to see the puppy move forward, stand up and lay down.
