Phonebook
Edit a phonebook entry
Search for the desired entry in the phonebook (see Review
phonebook entries or Alphabetical search on page 49).
When the desired entry displays, press SELECT. The handset
displays EDIT NUMBER and the stored number.
Use the dialing keys to edit the number.
Press or to move the cursor to the left or right.
Press DELETE to erase a digit.
Press and hold DELETE to erase all digits.
Press and hold PAUSE to enter a dialing pause (a P appears).
Press SELECT. The screen displays EDIT NAME and then the
stored name.
Use the dialing keys to edit the name.
Press or to move the cursor to the left or right.
Press 0 to add a space.
Press DELETE to erase a character..
Press and hold DELETE to erase all characters.
Press SELECT to save the entry. The handset displays Saved and
then the revised entry. You hear a confirmation tone.
Delete a phonebook entry
Search for the desired entry in the phonebook
(see Review phonebook entries or Alphabetical
search on page 49).
Press DELETE to delete the displayed phonebook
entry. The handset displays Delete contact? with
the contact name.
Press SELECT to confirm. The handset displays
Contact deleted. You hear a conformation tone.
