Pendant ringer tone
You can choose from different ringer
tones for pendant.
1. Press MENU when the handset is
not in use.
2. Press ! or to choose Pendant
and then press SELECT.
3. Press ! or to choose Pendant
Ringer, then press SELECT.
4. Press ! or to sample each ringer
tone.
5. Press SELECT to save. You hear a
confirmation tone.
Telephone base ringer volume
Press VOL or !VOL on the telephone
base to adjust the ringer volume when
the telephone base is not in use.
When you set the ringer volume to zero,
the base ringer is off. The telephone
base announces, 
Base ringer is off.
Handset ringer volume
You can adjust the handset ringer
volume level, or turn the ringer off.
If you turn the ringer off, the caller ID will
not be announced.
1. Press MENU when the handset is
not in use.
2. Press ! or to choose Ringers
and then press SELECT twice.
3. Press ! or to sample each ringer
volume level.
4. Press SELECT to save. You hear a
confirmation tone.

Press VOL+ or VOL- when the handset
base is not in use.
NOTES
! If the ringer volume is set to Off, the idle
screen displays
and Ringer off.
! When the ringer volume is set to Off, the
handset still rings when you press
/FIND
HANDSET at the telephone base.
Pendant ringer volume
Press VOL+ or VOL- when the pendant
is not in use.
When the pendant ringer is set to off, you
hear two beeps.
NOTE
! When the ringer volume is set to off, the
pendant still rings when you press /FIND
HANDSET at the telephone base.
Temporary ringer silencing
When the telephone is ringing, you can
temporarily silence the ringer without
disconnecting the call. The next call rings
normally at the preset volume.
To silence the handset ringer:
! Press MUTE, CANCEL or QUIET.
The handset displays
and Ringer
muted.
To silence the pendant ringer:
! Press VOL- .
