Add and register a pendant
Charge the new pendant without
interruption for at least 30 minutes before
registering it to the telephone base.
You hear three beeps every 10 seconds
when the pendant is not registered.
NOTES
! You cannot register a handset if any other
system handset is in use.
! Only one handset can register to the
telephone base at a time.
To register a pendant:
Make sure the pendant is out of the
pendant charger and turned on.
1. Press and hold
/FIND HANDSET at
the telephone base until the IN USE
light turns red.
2. Put the pendant in the pendant
charger. The pendant status light
flashes red and green to indicate the
registration is in progress.
The pendant beeps when the registration
process completes. The registration
process takes about 60 seconds to
complete.
If registration fails, you hear an error
tone. Remove the pendant from
the pendant charger and repeat the
registration process again.
Deregister all devices
To replace a device or reassign the
designated handset number of a
registered handset, you must deregister
all devices, and then register each
device individually.
NOTES
! You cannot deregister all devices if any
other system device is in use.
! If deregistration fails, reset the system and
try again. To reset, unplug the power from
the telephone base and plug it back in.
! Even if your devices have run out of
battery, you can still deregister them by
following the instructions in this section.
To deregister all handsets:
Make sure no handset is put in the
telephone base before deregistration.
1. Press and hold /FIND HANDSET at
the telephone base for about
10 seconds until the IN USE light
turns red and starts to flash.
2. Press
/FIND HANDSET immediately
again. You hear a confirmation tone.
All handsets display To register HS, see
manual when the deregistration process
completes. The deregistration process
takes about 10 seconds to complete.
