Exceptions
1.) Use of the vti4802 Driver requires the vtvm1548 driver to be installed on the system.
2.) The active levels for tri-state control on the VTI4802 are not selectable. A call to this function
will return an error if the passed parameter attempts to set the Tri-State level to
tkvx4802_ACTIVE_LEVEL_LOW. The External Tri-State Level is only valid in the
tkvx4802_ACTIVE_LEVEL_HIGH state. When the VM1548 is in the INPUT mode, the
device is in Input when the I/O line is High for a given port, and Output when the I/O line is
low.
3.) Interrupt configuration via tkvx4802_enableDisableInterrupt does not support both
RFDHandshake and DRDHandshake simultaneously.
4.) Simultaneous Input and Output Strobe updates are not supported.
5.) The Logical Address for the VTI4802 is the base logical address of the C-size module. There
will be two consecutive Logical Addresses following this that will be consumed.
6.) The Base Logical Address MUST be set to a multiple of 4.
7.) The tkvx4802_queryStatus function is currently not implemented on the vti4802 Driver.
Consult the factory for updates if this function is required for your application.
8.) There is no Soft Front Panel implementing the vti4802 driver. For instrument functionality
evaluation, use the vtvm1548 Driver Soft Front Panel.
9.) Due to the nature of using two instruments to simulate one, the tkvx4802_write and
tkvx4802_read functions cannot be supported on the vti4802.
10.) The tkvx4802_externalTristateEnable function is not supported. The VM1548's will always
have the Tri-State capabilities enabled when they are in the Input mode.
