18 Trouble-shooting
This section lists faults that can be solved simply by following the instructions
given. If another fault is displayed or the fault cannot be remedied, please call
Customer Services.
Before calling Customer Services:
18.1 What to do if …
… the appliance is not working and the displays are not illuminated
… just the illumination is not working
➤ Please note down the serial number (FN)
(see Technical data for the identification
plate) and the error message in full, e.g.:
Possible cause Solution
• A household fuse or
circuit breaker has
tripped.
➤ Change the fuse.
➤ Reset the circuit breaker.
• The fuse or circuit breaker
keeps blowing.
➤ Call Customer Services.
• An interruption in the
mains power supply.
➤ Check the mains power supply.
Possible cause Solution
• Halogen light bulb is
defective.
➤ Replace the halogen light bulb.
