The output voltage ripple of the V

depends on several parameters, as already shown in DESIGN FLOW – Step4. The
operating mode (CCM or DCM) further influences the output voltage ripple as shown in the two figures below:
The output voltage ripple during CCM operation is much lower (≤10mV

) than the ripple during DCM operation (around
