Würth Elektronik offers together with Texas Instruments a wireless power demonstration kit (or-
der code 760308) to demonstrate the advantages of wireless power and to give developers the
opportunity to test and integrate a wireless power solution to their application.
The demonstration kit is built according to Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) Qi specification
1.1. The transmitter is a 5 V input design and powers all standard WPC low power 5 W receivers.
There is only one correct possibility to connect the LED module to the receiver.
Take care that the GND pins on the receiver (lower right corner top side) are connected with the
female GND connector on the LED module (lower left corner back side).
Demonstration proposals:
1. Put the receiver (with LED module con-
nected) on the coil on the transmitter
board.
2. Keep the transmitter board in the demo
box (but connect it via power supply to a
wall socket) and close the demo box. Put
the receiver on the spot (where the trans-
mitter coil is). This simulates the “invisi-
ble” use case of integration of the Qi char-
ger into furniture.
LED Module Power Supply
Connect power supply USB connector to the
USB plug on the transmitter power cord.
