3.9 Safety devices
Cutting blade guard
Never operate the machine without a cutting blade guard.
The cutting blade guard performs the following functions:
 Protects the operator from the rotating cutting blade.
 Diverts workpiece particles and sparks or chips from a damaged cutting
blade away from the operator.
Only operate the machine when the cutting blade guard is folded down.
WARNING
Danger of injury due to open moving parts.
f Only operate the machine with properly installed and functioning safety
devices.
f Do not modify or remove safety devices.
