3. Try changing the loading order of the tablet driver. Place a space before the name WACOM TABLET in

the C

ONTROL PANELS folder. This causes the Wacom Tablet driver to load earlier than other control

panels. Restart your computer and watch for the Wacom Tablet successful startup icon.

4. If the Wacom Tablet driver still does not load, locate the conﬂicting extension in the S

YSTEM FOLDER.

• Go to the S

YSTEM FOLDER and create a new folder titled DISABLED EXTENSIONS. Drag your third-

party extensions to this new folder.

• Restart your computer. If you see the Wacom Tablet successful startup icon, you have a conﬂict

with one of the extensions. If the Wacom Tablet driver still does not load, drag your third-party

extensions back to the E

XTENSIONS folder and delete the DISABLED EXTENSIONS folder, then skip to

step 5.

• Start moving the extensions, a few at a time, from the D

ISABLED EXTENSIONS folder back into the

XTENSIONS folder. Restart your computer and watch for the successful startup icon until you ﬁnd

the conﬂicting extension. After you locate the conﬂicting extension, return the rest of your

extensions to the E

XTENSIONS folder. If the conﬂicting extension is not required, leave it in the

ISABLED EXTENSIONS folder; otherwise, check if an updated version of that extension is available,

or contact Wacom Technical Support.
